The Industry–Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC) in collaboration with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology (MGIT), organized an Expert Lecture on 10th October 2025 as part of the IIPC activities.

Dr. V. S. K. Murthy Balijepalli, CEO, LUCES Innovation Consulting, delivered an insightful talk on “Powering Tomorrow: Innovation, Intelligence & Impact in the Future Energy Landscape.”

In his address, Dr. Murthy elaborated on the evolving contours of the power sector — highlighting how Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and Blockchain technologies are transforming energy management, grid resilience, and consumer engagement. He emphasized the significance of energy transition, the global shift towards net-zero goals, and the challenges of decentralized energy systems.

The lecture witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members across various departments.
